The date of harvest is defined following very regular controls of maturity and tasting of the berries. The grapes are harvested by hand and the greatest care is taken with the bunches, which are sorted and placed whole in vats. On arrival at the winery, the grapes are sorted, crushed and vatted. The maceration stage is a long one, allowing the tannins to be rounded and refined. The result is a delicate wine. The extraction is done by manual punching of the cap. After malolactic fermentation and blending, the wines are aged in vats for a year and a half.
Very sweet nose, black cherry jam, ripe.
Lots of volume, powerful with very mellow tannins.
Lightly roasted finish.
