Its composition :
Old vines on hillsides. Wine with a lot of fullness and finesse.
Nose with sweet fruity notes, morello cherry, woody vanilla and roasted notes.
Round and sweet, elegant and complex. Liquorice and caramel finish.
Dark red colour.
Lingering and suave on the palate with nice tannins.
The date of harvest is defined following very regular controls of maturity and tasting of the berries. The grapes are harvested by hand and the greatest care is taken with the bunches, which are sorted and placed whole in vats. After a maceration phase, fermentation begins. We work the vats by punching down the cap or pumping over. The vatting continues beyond the fermentation. After devatting, the wines are aged for 18 months in new barrels.
