On arrival in the cellar, the grapes are sorted, crushed and vatted. Fermentation is rather long and the extraction is done by manual punching of the cap. After malolactic fermentation and blending, the wines are aged in vats for 18 months.
Its composition :
Deep ruby colour with purple tinges and crimson highlights.
Complex, powerful, aromas of ripe black fruits (prune, blackcurrant), generous aromas of liquorice.
Very structured with ever-present tannins giving a hint of dark chocolate.
Generous notes of spices, light notes of garrigue, subtle hints of liquorice, velvety tannins, round, powerful body, good intensity, long persistence.
Our Vacqueyras is a fine example of the fine Grenache wines of the southern Rhône Valley. Impressive aromatic expression, an extremely structured body with great ageing potential.
